Today was a tour of Alcazar-the Royal Palace of Sevilla

Today I stood in the room where Columbus told Ferdinand about discovering America. It was so surreal.
I believe they said that this palace dates back to the 9th century. The last pic is the room I am speaking of...you can see the Moorish influence in the architecture. It is one of the oldest royal palaces still in use in worldwide.

ps...we pass through this park most days on our walk to the center of the city.

Saturday morning and the house is quiet.
we awoke with plans to head to Cadiz, but wind and rain have caused our trip to be canceled.
